1. One
listing per artist, please. We understand that sometimes a second
listing would be appealing, but we're doing all we can to make this a level
playing field.
2. "Company
Name" means your Artist Name or Band Name. If you have a double name,
like "Ferd Ferkle & The Linkletones"...think about whether people know you
most as Herb Ferkle or as The Linkletones, and pick your category
accordingly. Pick either Ferkle and Linkletones and go for it. Please don't
put any extra words in the Company Name (like "GREAT MUSIC FOR KIDS"). They
will be deleted.

Description: This is VERY important. We've provided a HUGE amount of
space here...BUT we also have some tight guidelines here...and here's why.
If you tell everyone you're a 3-time winner of the Children's Chalice Award
for Best Artist...guess what? If you win again, your listing is outdated.
Its fine to say that you're an award winner. It's fine to say that your
albums contain multilingual songs for kids. But please don't talk about your
new album that will be out in November. Or that you have 5 albums out. No
dates. Please....avoid talking exclusively about specific albums. We want
the listing to have a "timeless" feel...always current. Here's what the
description is for: Tell people interesting things about you. Make them want
to visit your site. THAT'S where you can tell them all about your album,
awards and other important stuff like that. Please honor our request in this
regard. It's important to keep the site as interesing and up to date as we
can make it. Oh...feel free to use a couple newspaper quotes or whatever.
You've got 1500 characters to work with! Listing submissions that do not
follow these guidelines will be edited, or possibly rejected. |
